DePauw Architects is a full-service architecture firm founded in a shared dedication to creating thoughtful, client-focused, and innovative architecture. Design for us begins by connecting with and learning from our clients to develop a shared vision for the project. It continues through comprehensive and efficient project implementation tailored to your needs, and concludes in a place which indelibly enriches lives.

We are a small, local, family-owned firm with over 20 years of combined experience. Our work includes high end residential projects in award-winning properties such as Palmetto Bluff, Spring Island, and Sea Pines in Beaufort and surrounding counties. We also offer services to commercial and institutional projects at a wide variety of scales.

Joe and Lydia met in the Lowcountry and had the opportunity to work in the same firm early in their careers before pursuing individual opportunities with other leading local architects. Joe worked with mentor Tom Parker at PDG Architects on feature commercial and custom residential projects in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island. Lydia went on to co-found Lamb & Gray Architects, specializing in high-end custom home design. At DePauw Architects, we are devoted to sharing our passion for design and bringing your dream project to life.
